The ABC’s of Practice Financing in Today's Crazy Financial Environment

This presentation will provide the attendees an overview of financing options dedicated to both the first time dental practice owner and the experienced owner who is planning to expand, buy-in, or acquire another practice. It will provide guidance on the best ways to structure the right loan for each doctor. This will include a review on the new IRS Section 179 changes that can benefit each doctor this year as tied to equipment purchases.
The session will also highlight information on what lenders are looking for in qualified candidates and what doctor’s can do today to ensure the best available financing for their office.
Finally, the presentation will take an impartial look at important success factors, milestones and areas every lender should be presenting to each and every doctor in today’s market place (to ensure a successful practice purchase or starting up a new dental office).

Mike Apalucci, Vice President and Regional Manager for the Northeast, specializes in the practice sales transition and acquisition of dental practices. With over 30 millions dollars of practices closed in 2008 in the New York, New Jersey area, Mike will concentrate on buying a practice and the pitfalls to avoid in moving forward.
Jazmin Notta, Regional Manager for New York State also brings 3 years of inside dental experience with Banc of America. She specializes in working with dental vendors, equipment specialist, doctors graduating from dental school and preparing for their next steps and practice careers.
