The paradigm of caries management has widened.  With minimally invasive and remineralization technologies, we are faced with a new decision model in diagnosing and treatment.  This program will review the historic trends in caries control and introduce the exciting new trends in therapies.

Topics covered:
  • Identify the diagnostic changes utilized in evaluating the caries process
  • Discuss and implement the use of the CAMRA risk assessment tool
  • Discuss the latest diagnostic technology in screening and tracking caries patterns
  • Compare and discuss the current delivery systems, which contain technologies claiming enamel restoration and remineralization
