Understanding Digital Radiography Supported, in part, by an educational grant from PracticeWorks, LLC. Thursday, November 6, 2008 9:00am-12:00pm (3 CE credits) Dr. David Gane will demonstrate and discuss the latest in 2-D and 3-D digital radiography technologies and explain how digital radiography plays an integral role in creating efficiencies within the general and specialist practice. This presentation will present tips and techniques designed to help enhance your diagnostic abilities while assisting in the improvement of patient care and practice productivity. Session Objectives: - Present an overview of current digital radiography technologies in dentistry and demonstrate their profound impact on patient care. - Review current digital intraoral and extraoral radiography technologies, comparing their advantages and disadvantages, and explaining their optimal implementation within a general and specialty dental practice. Recommended: Dentist, Dental Specialist, Hygienist and Assistant. ![]() David Gane, DDS is a dental graduate of the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Gane has authored many publications and technique videos on digital radiography and has lectured internationally on digital imaging topics. Dr. Gane is a guest lecturer at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Gane has acted in the capacity as consultant to a number of universities and corporations and currently serves as Vice President of Digital Imaging for PracticeWorks LLC, the exclusive maker of Kodak Dental Systems. |
