Transforming Periodontal and Dental Care Powered by Artificial Intelligence

6-8pm, Wed, Nov 20 via live Zoom

This course is designed to expose attendees to up-to-date periodontal technologies that can be incorporated into patient care. Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being integrated into various healthcare fields. Our course focuses on exploring the synergy between digital technologies and AI to achieve higher success, predictability, and precision for periodontal surgeries (crown lengthening, bone graft, implant placement). It also introduces AI-based software that can assist dentists in interpreting radiographic images more efficiently and standardizedly.

Learning Objectives:

At the completion of the program, participants should be able to:

  • Understand principles of surgical digital planning and 3D guide design using AI-based software
  • Introduction to digital planning of crown lengthening, sinus lift and implant surgeries.
  • Be familiarized with possible applications of artificial intelligence in periodontics
