This
course provides dental professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the
guidelines for cementing versus bonding ceramic restorations. We will address
key principles as well as controversial topics related to these techniques. By
the end of the course, attendees will be prepared to make evidence-based
decisions to enhance clinical outcomes and patient care.
At
the completion of the program, participants should be able to:
- Understand the conventional cementation
process using glass ionomer and resin-modified glass ionomer (RMGI) cement

Explore the principles of bonding ceramic
restorations using resin cement and ceramic primers.

Make decisions on when to cement and when to
bond

Understand the immediate dentin sealing
technique and its benefits

Gain insight into the controversial aspects of
bonding to composite in deep margin elevation cases.

Recognize the advantages and limitations of
using heated composite for bonding
Participants
will gain hands-on experience with dental adhesives and cements from Ivoclar
Vivadent. They will also understand the critical steps in the cementation
protocol, including the must-do’s for ensuring clinical success in
restorativeprocedures.
