The Faculty Davis Garlapo, DDS Professor, Department of Restorative Dentistry, School of Dental Medicine. He maintains a prosthodontic faculty practice and is active in the pre-doctoral and advanced education programs. Eugene A. Pantera, Jr., DDS, MS, is Clinical Associate Professor, Director of the Division of Endodontics and Director of the Advanced Program in Endodontics. Dr. Pantera is active in faculty practice, contributes to the endodontic literature, and teaches all levels of dental education. Joseph J. Zambon, DDS, PhD Professor of Periodontology and Oral Biology UB. In addition to faculty practice, Dr. Zambon is active in the pre-doctoral, research, advanced education, and continuing education programs as well as a contributor to the literature. |

Zambon The diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease has gone beyondjust probing and scaling. This presentation will review newer methods of diagnosis and treatment as well as surgery conducive to predictable restorative therapy
Endodontics - Dr. Eugene A. Pantera, Jr. Endodontic treatment is very predictable but becomes compromisedwith the presence of clinical problems. This discussion will review how various treatment problems can be approached and how they may impact on restorative therapy. ° Diagnosing endodontic failures ° Retreatment ° Dealing with treatment errors ° Restorative considerations Prosthodontics - Dr. Davis Garlapo Evolving rationale and recommendatios for the restoration of endodontically treated teeth has both maintained and called to question several previous considerations and approaches. This presentation will use clinical treatment to demonstrate selection and design of current restorative approaches blending the theoretical with practical application.
