Instruction will focus primarily on case presentations of ethical dilemmas involving common grounds for ethical complaints, disciplinary actions and malpractice allegations.

Completion of this course will enhance your ability to:

* Recognize and analyze the ethical dilemmas which commonly occur in the operation of a dental practice
* Determine alternative conduct possible in ethical dilemmas
* Apply ethical principles and the Code of Ethics to assist in selecting an appropriate alternative when faced with a conflict
* Know and comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations
* Engage in values-based dialogue with peers and the general public
