With over one million new cases of cancer diagnosed each year with the increasing shift of "outpatient management", it is more likely that you will see an increasing number of oncology patients in your practice. Oral complications can and do lead to treatment interruptions. Medically necessary oral care before, during and after oncology treatment is vital to the overall quality of life and patient survival.
