 NEW YORK DENTAL ASSISTANT ASSOCIATION ANNUAL SESSION April 17, 2010 AIDS Education & Training for the Dental Team The NYDAA Annual Session in Ithaca, New York at the Ramada Inn features Howard Lavigne and his team from the NY/NJ AIDS Education and Training Center. They explain current treatment management of HIV/AIDS, oral manifestations and indicators that may present, new HIV salivary diagnostic testing techniques, referral resources for the management of patients and conclude with a Q &A session to address specific issues relating to treatment planning. This should prove to be an extremely informative meeting! The NY/NJ AIDS Education and Training Center is able to certify 7 continuing education credit hours through the American Dental Association.
